Karate movie with a kid in Beverly Hills?

What movie has a kid that is very good at karate and goes to beverly hills and stays with his uncle. One scene has a billiards match followed by a bar brawl. Another scene has the kid meditating and he tells his uncle that before he walks into any room he sees what he can kill somebody with? This movie was from the early 90's I believe.
