What is the difference between Kempo karate and Koryu Uchinadi? What is better or is it a matter of opinion?

I would like to start karate in Long Island NY. People recommend two schools to me. One is a Kempo school. The other is Koryu Uchinadi. Any input would help me decide what to do. The schools are Kempo Martial Arts Dojo. There is a bunch of these on the Island. The other school is the East Coast Black Belt Academy.
