What type of classes/ranks are there in Wushu?

There isn't any "official" gradings for wushu (unlike taekwondo/karate/judo that has kyus and dans as well as professional organizations presiding over the handing out of them) but it is not uncommon for clubs to have their own little grading system, usually by colour of sashes of shirts, for easy teaching (having all the people in the same 'rank' together to teach). Since its only internally recognized (if I obtained a certain grade in judo, I can go to another club who will let me start from that grade- this is not the case in wushu) these grades, in my opinion, should not be charged for.
