If Josh Beckett and John Lackey find their magic again, are the Red Sox the favorites to win the AL?

The offense of the Red Sox look unstoppable, better than the 2004 and 2007 team. Save for the loss of Martinez at catcher, every position is loaded. Gonzales, Pedroia, Youkilis, Ellsbury, Crawford, Ortiz. All incredible offensive and defensive (save Ortiz). The one thing that worries me as a Red Sox fan is the pitching. Buchholz and Lester both had Cy Young worth campaigns last season, but the lack of consistency from Lackey, Beckett, Matsuzaka, and Papelbon screwed them over. With the addition of Bobby Jenks and now that we have Daniel Bard I can see the relievers improving. But Lackey and Beckett need to improve. If they do, do you think they'll easily win the American League East and the American League Championship?
