Trying to identify this movie that I saw a trailer for a long time ago? (10 pts if you can)?

Okay, this is a hard one, but when I went to go see "The Karate Kid" last year, there was a movie that was advertised where this young boy is looking at playboy magazine and this girl walks in and says "Playboy Magazine?!" and he says "get out" and she says something to the effect of "check out my Miss October". The setting in the movie seems sort of old fashioned and it looks like a drama film, and everyone is wearing sort of old fashioned clothes. It's sort of hard to explain. if you can correctly identify this film I will give you best answer!
